Trainspotting (1996)

I have to say for someone who likes film it was of some surprise to my friends that i hadn't got round to watching this film until earlier this year. The story is set in Edinburgh and centres around the events in a life of a drug users and about his outlook on it. One of the benifits of the film is that in is not saying that you shouldn't do drugs but just says that this is what will happen and your life will be hell. (That generally gets the message across to most people!) It is an adaptation of a book by Irvine Welsh. The film is tough and gritty and Ewan McGregor and Robert Carlyle are great in their roles. Kelly MacDonald also puts in a great performance in the film. This is an absolute must for anyone interested in film!
